GoPro
Mechanical Engineer, Aerial Products, May 2015 - September 2017
Worked on aerial architecture and mechanical design of GoPro’s first drone platform, as well as definition for future drone programs. Initially brought in as GoPro’s in-house drone expert, I served as a key member in the development from early prototypes through production.Working on the development of aerial capture products from early product architecture through launch. The first product, called Karma, is a portable, versatile, and easy-to-use drone and handheld stabilization system.
Quadbox
Founder, May 2014 - September 2017
Quadbox is an ultra-portable, consumer drone for aerial video capture. After designing and drafting intellectual property for Quadbox, I exited this venture after negotiating a sale for the patent.

Worked on structural design and research and development (R&D) initiatives on the 702SP satellite product line.
Advanced Tactics
Mechanical Design Engineer, January 2011 - May 2013
Worked at a start-up company funded by the US Army and Air Force to develop air and ground mobile, multirotor drones. The prototype vehicles ranged in size from 10 lbs to 4,400 lbs.
